From hypertension to Parkinson’s disease, miscarriages to lung cancer, brain tumours, asthma and even cognitive impairment in children, poor air quality inflicts insidious harm on our quality of life, causing over 300,000 excess deaths in Europe in 20207. Yet we do not all breathe the same air.
