In 2021, on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of the entry into force of Legislative Decree no. 152/2006 (the so-called Italian “Environmental Code”), the Rivista Quadrimestrale di Diritto dell’Ambiente (RQDA) felt it necessary to reflect on the complexity of the process of “codification” of environmental law, highlighting its assumptions, results, weaknesses and future prospects, in the light not only of the specific Italian experience but also of what similarly happened in other European legal systems. The International Workshop on “The Italian Environmental Code 15 years after its entry to force” , organised by the RQDA in collaboration with the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (PhD courses in “Public Law” and in “Public, Comparative and International Law”) will take place on 25 October 2021 in Rome, in a mixed presence/distance system mode, at the Aula “Calasso” of the Faculty of Law, University “La Sapienza”.
Information on how to participate can be obtained from the organising secretary of the Workshop (riccardo.stupazzini@uniroma1.it ; silvia.lazzari@uniroma1.it).
